Download / setup instructions in brief:

1. When the download dialogue box appears, click the OPEN*  button.

2. When the download is complete the installation process will begin. Click the NEXT button, and continue to follow the on-screen instructions until the installation is complete. Do not change the defaults, including the installation directory. Keeping the suggested directory will make future upgrades much easier for you.

* If you do not see a OPEN or RUN button, Click the DOWNLOAD or SAVE button. Save the downloaded file, 'FloorSchedule_Version_1700.exe' to your desktop or other directory where you can easily find it. Next, find the downloaded file and double click on it to begin the installation process.

1. Click on the statement at the top... Depending on your browser settings you may see one of two dialogue boxes. The warning dialogue is simply that. Since you know the source of this download and you initiated the download, you know that you can trust the download. Select the 'More Info' button on the dialogue box for details. For added peace of mind, once you have downloaded the file, you may scan it with your favorite virus scanner before running the install.

2. The message, "Would you like to open the file or save it..", will appear. Click on "Save".

3. A "Save in" box will appear. We suggest you download the file to your desktop. 

4. The name of the file is Floor Schedule 2002 Installation.exe. This file (size = 10 Meg) may take several minutes to download depending on the speed of your connection. Unless you have a T1 line or other fast connection, expect a lengthy download. See below for our smaller version.*

Once the download is complete...

1. Click the 'Open' button or..
    find the file on your desktop and Double click on the FloorSchedule_Version_1700.exe file to install Floor Schedule.

3. Follow the directions on your screen. The installation suggests that you place the program in your 'C:\FSWin02' directory. Do not change unless necessary, since any future updates will be looking for this directory.

4. Depending on your operating system you may see the following messages:

        a. "Error. CTCalendar.ocx failed to register." - You may ignore. Will register at restart.
        b. "Older version of Windows Installer found" - You may ignore. For your info only.
        c. "Scrrun protected by Windows. Cannot update" - You may ignore.
        d. At start up "Font not found" - Reset program font from program settings menu.
